The Remembered: ''It's hard.''

“I’ve told and Hailey has told you of many stories where I was on dates… I admit to being a ladies man and I enjoyed treating girls to a good time. But thing is, it was rare that I dated a girl that wanted to date me for just being ME and not because I was TV star or that was Nick Loopin’ Lopez from CHoPs… The rare few I met… Those were the ones I treasured.” He looked up at the sky again. “It was when the feelings felt real and well it was those times I steady dated them… The last one I was in love with… I lost because I passed away… and she’s the only girl I remember BY NAME… The others are all blurred faces… but the worst part to this… I know for fact I’ll never get to have her… and it’s a regret I carried with me to the afterlife for not actually moving forward… But… I found a way to cope with it…”

I've had this in my USB for awhile and I felt like doing my Mechanids yet again so why not this moment between Nick and his student, Sayaka? I really enjoyed this particular scene since for Nick, it was pretty evident in what we saw in FAR that he was a ladies man. He liked treating girls to a good time. Doesn't mean it was all happy times for him.

In my head canons and well Storm's too since she helps me write this stuff, Nick actually wanted a relationship that was real. He wanted a girl to like him for him and not because he was some hot shot actor. Which in turn, he kind of secretly envied that Blade got a real relationship with Miranda. He didn't whine about it though because he's awesome like that. It just hit him really hard when he died.

So with all that in mind, it really helped in his comfort of Sayaka since... well... yeah, life has not been fair for her.

And on a last note... I have no idea who the girl Nick remembers is. I've left that open to interpretation since I'm not really in the mood to create another OC and it's territory that I don't want to go into. I already got Blade and Miranda, I don't want to hog all the characters. So yeah, up to you guys. But bear in mind, Nick is no longer interested in having a relationship due to his circumstances and is on the forever single list. (It's quite a long list actually. *shot*)

Not alone though. That's where his family and friends fill in those gaps.

Art notes, this was a nice simple break from my other projects since one, drawing machines can be tiring, and two it was nice to play with some different BGs and lightning. Also, make small tweaks to Sayaka.
