So yesterday was quite the day. I got to come back online AND I got to hang out with Shadow and Storm for a bit and draw fun stuff. (It was really on a whim too since Shadow just basically said "Start a stream up, darn it!" I happily obliged.)
We kind of went on a fluff shipping spree. In this case, drew two different ships for Dusty. I've mentioned before that I can like pairings outside of my own pairings since.... well there are other good pairings. XD I just have the ones I write about in my universe and well... can't have them all. (That would just be awkward for some characters.) Doesn't stop me though from drawing them. I mean after all I just had a mega universe crossover with all the pups so might as well get things sorted out with the parents. And I've found the solution to tell the two Dustys apart.
Different colors our are friends. The Dusty with Shadow is blue, the Dusty with Ishani is red. Why? Alternate universe. I'd go into more detail, but those who have and are still reading Fires of Life, you'll probably have a good idea where the blue Dusty is from. So yeah, if Dusty is sketched in blue, it's not the Dusty from the canon Mechanid/Machina/Of Cars and Planes series. (That one is sketched in orange or red, depending on the paint job.) He's from a different timeline that has a lot of things flipped around for story telling and to make the universe different from the canon. So yeah, Shadow gets the blue Dusty. (Gold goes good with blue if you ask me.)
Anyways, this about sums up a lot of what happened yesterday. I got to draw two favorite ships of mine and the three of us were just the chatting the day away. I do have more Shasty stuff but I'll save that for another day. (Shadow's feels were not ready.)
I don't want to hear anything about which ship is better. Both have something I like about them and I just flat out don't wanna hear it. Just be respectful. That's all I ask. This a ship war free zone.
