Planes Fire and Rescue: Dusty Crophopper

Welp. With a new movie around the corner you know what that means.

More designs be coming... Maybe.

I've been feeling a bit iffy about Fire and Rescue since the first trailer came out. I feel a bit better about it now with the recently released trailers showing us that my favorite characters are going to be coming back as well. (The Propwash Junction Folks.) Also we'll see how these new cast of characters will be. Some of them sound awesome. The only one that's not getting points right now is Dipper. XD Trust me, I do find some of the stuff she's doing hilarious... but I really hope that's not her defining character trait. I hope to see a serious side to her considering what her job is. 

Anyways, I won't be humanizing them till I see the movie. How it works for me when it comes to translating, I have to know the character's personality. I need more than just their plane appearances. I don't know, just something about personality makes up part of the designs for me. Also like I mentioned, we'll see if I like any of the new cast. If they do succeed in impressing me, then be on the watch out for 17 new characters. 

Now enough talk about them, let's talk about Dusty. So at first I wasn't exactly thrilled with the new paint job I assume he's going to be getting by the end of the film... then it kind of grew on me. He actually looks really good in black and red. (Orange will still be forever his best color though.) So this is his Fire and Rescue suit. In the Mechanid world the clothes for Fire and Rescue Mechanids are made of material that can stand extreme heat, and the insides are lined with technology to keep their wearers cool and not die from Heat Stroke. As for smoke protection, they have masks they wear. Also you may notice Dusty has a new set of goggles. His old ones weren't going to cut it. The new ones have different lenses built for the job. It's so he doesn't get blinded by the brightness of the flames. And the obvious, protect his eyes from cinders. 

I'm aware that probably for the majority of the movie he will have his orange and blue paint job, but that's basically what my V2 design is, albeit it's more meant for racing. :T MAYBE I'll do the orange blue but I highly doubt.
