Pegasi FAR: Promise As Friends

As friends... I promise I'll come back.

More breaking off from canon since Pegasi does take place in Equestria. Rainbow and Dusty are friends. (They meet through a story I'm currently writing.) Rainbow visited Propwash the day after Dusty got the news of his malfunctioning wings. She gave some comfort and encouragement and was being a good friend to him. Then Dusty got the idea to go into Fire and Rescue since Propwash needs two fire fighters in order for it to stay open. Rainbow wanted to go with Dusty since she didn't want him to face this on his own but Dusty said he needed to. This was his problem, not hers. She kept insisting, but Dusty said there was no need for her to be there with him at Piston Peak.

You're aspiring to be a Wonderbolt, Dash, not a fire fighter. The last thing I want to happen to you is for you to lose your dream because you got yourself roped into something dangerous.

Rainbow sees his point and respects his wishes... she doesn't like it though. They share a moment and then he takes off for Piston Peak.

And that's about it. She does come up again later in this story line, but that's a story for another picture and time.
