Fun fact: Originally there was a "no" in there being said by Joseph. but then I found it too cliche and... honestly Joseph's face enough to get the point across that he's mortified at what Todd just did. 
Also big 180 from what he did in the original Trilogy. (Those who didn't read the the original trilogy, he infected a Data Child with a virus... He would want to hit the biggest weak point in my mind so... Vern it was.) One other point... To be honest I couldn't find a proper speech bubble that would work for the no. Anyways comment too long, focus on the story.
